George Clooney
George Clooney has often had the reputation for “international playboy” but did you know he is one of the most charitable celebrities out there? He donates to many charity organizations helping to fight homelessness, hunger, and provide disaster relief. His biggest passion is preventing the heinous atrocities to those who can’t defend themselves; he co-founded the Not On Our Watch with friends Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle, Jerry Weintraub, and Matt Damon whose mission it is to “generate lifesaving humanitarian assistance and protection for the vulnerable, marginalized, and displaced.” He plays a crucial role creating mainstream awareness to address human rights crimes in various parts of Africa like Sudan, South Sudan, Congo, Somalia, and areas controlled by the Lord’s Resistance Army. He also donates his time and money towards other organizations like Feeding America, Save the Children, and Stand-Up To Cancer.
