Michelle was on the board of six major organizations, including the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, and Tree House Foods. She also served as Vice President of the Community and External Affairs at the University of Chicago Hospitals, a role that she resigned in 2009.
