You have absolutely no idea what you are missing out on if you are not part of the pop culture movement that is The Walking Dead. Let’s get one thing clear, The Walking Dead is not JUST A SHOW, it is hands down THE BEST THING TO HAVE EVER HAPPENED TO TELEVISION. (We kid of course; Game of Thrones is obviously the best. But The Walking Dead is still FANTASTIC!).
The gripping storylines, the gory brutality, and the emotional hooks – each and every episode leaves you wanting for more. Thankfully, the makers of the show know exactly how much the show is loved worldwide and they consistently produce other works (outside of the show) to feed the gluttonous fan base. We encourage you to check out the video games and comics if you haven’t already.
Knowing how much we love The Walking Dead, you can fairly assume how stoked we are to see the official announcement that we will soon be blessed with a spinoff The Walking Dead show after months of relentless speculation. Entitled Fear the Walking Dead, the new spinoff is set to serve as the prequel to the story – which means we (might) finally get to know how the darn world gets infected – and is meant to be a web series.
With season 5 of The Walking Dead coming to an end, and a new one not beginning till at least around fall time, this web series will help take care of the addicted fiends. As of right now, the spinoff show is set to premier during the summer – and we could not be more excited.
