It is very easy to consider Google as a top tier contender for technology that has actually made our world easier to use and made it smaller, in a good way! Google has simplified all the information we have as humans and put it at the convenience of our finger tips. Come to think of it, there is almost nothing Google cannot help you learn.
When it started, Google was just a search engine – now, it’s an all-in-one app. Google has some great features where (depending on the criteria) questions can be answered without even having to visit any other site. Here are great things Google can simplify and make their lives interesting.
Google Keep
Google Keep is a great tool to organize notes and make (interactive) lists. It’s great for those who consistently forget amazing ideas.
Google Forms
Most are familiar with the awesomeness that is Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets. Google Forms takes this aspect of Google to a whole other level. The idea behind Google forms is to construct various surveys or questionnaires – which of course you can share online with friends.
Track Flights
You can track any flight, simply enter the Airline’s initials and the flight number.
Tip Calculator
No need to complicate your dining life. The feature calculates based on the total, the preferred percentage, and number of people splitting.
Unit Conversions
Unit conversions are a breeze on Google – especially those tedious ones that involve different unit systems (i.e. US Customary to Metric System and vice versa).
Mortgage Calculator
This tool is fairly self-explanatory. Just enter the principle, interest, and time to get the total cost of the mortgage and the monthly payments.
Stocks
Track the stock market and your favorite companies with interactive stock information by simply googling ‘X’ company’s stock and/or using company’s stock letters.
Highlight to Search
Highlight to Search is an add on one has to download. It works similarly to Google Dictionary; you select (highlight) the word/phrase you want to search and a magnifying glass icon will emerge on the screen. Clicking on the icon will give you further options regarding your search. Yes, copying and pasting isn’t the most difficult thing to do, but it’s still a rad feature!
Ngram
Ngram is the tool you need if you want to figure out when a certain word became famous. The tool searches the phrase through books between from the year 1500!

For foodies, deciding what to eat can present to be a huge hassle; especially true if you care about the food’s nutritional value; simply google “’x’ vs. ‘y’”.
Free Fonts
Not only can one download the fonts on their systems, but, they also allow you to embed fonts as codes onto your website(s).
Google Dictionary
We can all agree that looking up definitions on google is a fairly common occurrence – more so than one would actually like to agree. Google has a feature that makes doing this ten folds easier; simply download the Google Dictionary tool. All you’ll have to do is highlight the unknown word and click on the book icon to get the definition. This is seriously a MUST HAVE!

Google even has a countdown timer by typing “‘x’ minute (also hours and seconds) timer”; it even beeps when the clock hits 0!
Reverse Image Search
Sometimes more than the images,you may be curious about the content that accompanies it – luckily, Google allows you to search via images also! Simply Google the image, then drag and drop it on the search bar; you will get all the links that image has been used in! One can even upload an image saved on their desktop to get the similar result!
Earth View
We are sure most of you are familiar with the earth view feature in the Google Maps tool. However, Google has another section dedicated to some of the most amazing aerial photographs from earth. The pictures here really take your perspective of earth to a whole new level! The tool also allows you to figure out where the random picture is from; spontaneous travelling game anybody?
