If just one day of Halloween isn’t enough and going out of country is an option for you Halloween maniacs, then get ready to celebrate Halloween the Mexican way in the city of Oaxaca. Dia de los Muertos is a three day long festival that is held to remember the ones that have passed away. During the day, the beautifully decorated city is a great place to frequent the local markets and cuisine. The nights are where the magic happen; visitors get to submerge themselves in various impressive cultural programs like the Comparsa – a carnival-like function with dancing, live music, and beautiful costumes.
