A simple act of kindness can change the world, and this one did just that. Several weeks ago, a man eating at Mexican fast-food chain, Qdoba, filmed a video of an employee helping a customer with a disability eat her lunch. Ridge Quarles, who is the employee from Qdoba, says he got to know a customer with a disability who often comes to the chain for lunch, reported by WAVE 3. After Quarles helped the woman through the order line he asked if she needed anything else. “She turned around and she was like, ‘Sir, if you don’t mind could you help me eat?'” he told the organization.
David Jones a bystander actually filmed the entire thing. “he didn’t stop to think about, ‘well, should I help her, should I not?’ ” Jones told WAVE 3. “He just went over, put the gloves on and started feeding her.”
This video is certainly proof that are are good people in this world and good things really do happen everyday, we just don’t always hear about them on the news. In this case though, we did!
