With an evident support for marijuana (over 30,000 votes were collected to bring the legalization bill to the ballot), the residents are now searching for a situation where the probation programs will be replaced by taxation programs; Alaska Marijuana Legalization, Ballot Measure 2 will be up for voting this November. If passed, the bill will legalize people over the age of 21 to carry up to one ounce and have 6 plants as well as the sales, taxation, and manufacturing of the plant.
