Arizona was one of the states looking to get a reform bill on the ballot for 2014 primaries, but the lack of support for the bill stopped the campaign in its tracks; a cannabis-reform political-action committee named Safer Arizona led an initiative to gather 250,000 signatures to bring a reform bill to the ballot. Only a third of the requirement was met. But the group is not claiming defeat yet; they plan on enhancing their practices and aim to bring a bill for the 2016 election.
