If you are a hardcore St. Patrick’s Day fan, chances are you are going to find yourself (Drinking) at a parade and/or (Drinking) at a bar. We all know that alcohol affects changes in our personality – some characteristics are worse than others. The four most prominent ones are “The Lone Wolf”, “The Hot Mess”, “The Angry Drunk”, and “The Happy Drunk.”
The Lone Wolf is the guy whose friends either couldn’t make it out on the day or well he/she might not have any – let’s just pretend they are at work and have busy schedules.
The Hot Mess is the one who is clearly inebriated but insists on continuing to drink.
The Angry Drunk is just mad at the world. As much of a downer alcohol can be, an angry mindset + alcohol is recipe for a disaster – if you didn’t know that already.
The Happy Drunk is the drunk you typically don’t mind being around and if you were to pick one, this would be the one to go with. They are carefree but mean no harm.
Whichever one you choose to be today, make sure you drink responsibly and have a trustworthy designated driver to get you home safely. It does not hurt to have taxi service in your speed dial for occasions like these. Also, it is a Tuesday and the last thing you want is to call in “sick” – come on, nobody is that gullible.
