7. Ditch “Diet” to Lose Weight
On the quest to lose some extra pounds, many people choose “diet” versions of the foods they love to cut some extra calories. Often times these foods are the ones labeled “sugar free” or “fat free”. Unfortunately, these so-called “diet” foods simply replace the sugar or fat with chemicals that studies have shown actually result in more weight gain and can aggravate pre-existing health conditions in many people. So, ditch the diet sodas and snacks and either limit your intake of high calorie foods or find natural alternatives to curb your desires.
