A great parent knows how to love and inspire their children unconditionally. Jayce is a person that sets a great example for this. In the video posted above, you will see him rap for his son, Jared, who suffers from cerebral palsy, hydrocephaly and epilepsy; and the results are wonderful – the reaction from Jared will bring tears of joy to your heart!
Another goal of this video is to help create awareness for the needs and hardships that go into taking care for a disabled family member. Jared’s condition requires his family to own a vehicle with wheelchair accessibility. For this purpose, they opened a gofundme.com account in hopes that the kindness of the viewers will help them raise enough money to afford the van they need.
It is a pleasure to announce that because of the generosity of humble and kind people, Jayce and Jared have met their goal of raising twelve thousand dollars – and then some more! This is a great example of how community can come together and help take care of each other; we can all agree that it would be great to see this happen more consistently.
