Meet Porter, the world’s first dog who was trained to drive a car. We know what you are thinking….”it can’t be true”, but watch this video to see for yourself! Porter literally sits in the car, gets buckled in and gets behind the wheel to take off!
Porter and three other dogs, who happen to be shelter dogs from the SPCA, were trained to drive cars as part of a fantastic marketing campaign. We think the ads drove their point home that shelter dogs are smart, so smart in fact they can drive a car.
So if you are thinking about adopting a dog, we hope this gives you the push you need to stop by your local SPCA and take home one of these smart, loyal and adorable dogs. I mean if you adopt one, they might even drive you home!
